This superfight was hosted at the 2006 Grapplers Quest U.S. Nationals and All-Star Pro Challenge as the main event superfight in Bayonne, New Jersey. Why was it such a big match? Just three years earlier, Marcos Avellan exploded on the scene in the same venue, defeating several big name and top ranked grapplers, winning several pro tournaments along the way.
