The Northwest (Seattle or Portland) has a strong MMA, grappling, and wrestling tradition. I think it would be a great spot for a tournament. I live here (Portland) so maybe I'm just a homer, but we have a lot of interest here.

edit - also what about doing an event during The Arnold Classic in Columbus? UFC/WEC guys will be there, you could put on super fights or something, like at the UFC 100 expo

I am moving to CA and you guys should come to the Long Beach Convention Center, they hold an annual MMA expo there!!! That way I can compete there also....you guys run a great tournament!!

The scene in Vancouver is really good, would definitely benefit from a well-run tournament. Tim Shears from Gracie Barra Van. puts on a lot of tourneys, I would try to talk with him about numbers. There is a UFC event this year too....
