One of the best things about training BJJ or any type of martial art is that you may go into your lesson having had a bad day - and maybe a bad attitude - but you almost always leave feeling damn good.

For me the 60 or 90 minutes that I spend training is the best "therapy" session I could have as I definitely leave in a better mood.

Today worked one of my favorite positions in gi - spider guard - so many techniques and submissions you can work from it!!!!

And a Christmas present - FLIP - is going to transform my training!!!!!!!!!!!

At 57, tonight was one of those nights where the benefits of training BJJ comes to mind at my age. My cardio is the best it has ever been.

VERY nice when your doc says - NAH - forget the tread mill test - you will last longer than the machine!!!!
