MASTERS: New Age Group Category Added for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Grapplers Quest, Competitors 40 Years and Older

WAYNE, NEW JERSEY - Grapplers Quest is proud to announce a new age category in Men's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu called "MASTERS" which will encompass all Belt Levels (White, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black Belt) exclusively for competitors 40 years and older. The next tournament is Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25 in Wayne, New Jersey called, "The Beast of the East" a nickname coined by UFC and Bellator Fighter, Kurt "Batman" Pellegrino for the monstrous size of the event.
"We've offered Masters in No-Gi Grappling since 2005 and it's time to expand the BJJ to match the demand from our loyal and hard working competitors. As I and many of my friends are approaching 40 years old, I realize that the grappling community is also aging, we have jobs and different demands in life. Although our priorities in life may have changed, we still all need goals. The desire to compete never goes away and this will offer more competitors another reason to challenge themselves, regardless of age. The future is bright for grappling, in 2013, Grapplers Quest will be adding Directors to No-Gi for 50+ year old competitors as well," commented Grapplers Quest President, Brian Cimins.
