I hate this time of year! Its offically -8 degrees out today! With the Wind chill it is -27 degrees! Grappling changes a bit when it gets that cold, the mats start to shrink a bit, it takes me a longer to get wamed up. So if you in the warmer areas of the USA be happy!

Hey guy's, this is my first blog on http://GrapplersQuest.com and I am happy to share what's going on with me. I'm in New Mexico right now training for my upcoming fight in UFC 110. My body all way"s take"s a bit to adjust to the altitude but some how the team here help's me forget about the pain. I'm very exited for this next fight and can't wait to show off all the hard work to everyone. The picture I posted, is of my boys and I and I choice to share it with you because they as well as my wife are my greatest inspiration.

Got back to training on Monday but just been busy getting ready
Tomorrow are the weigh ins for Grapplers X
Not sure what to think of it if its a big event or not
But I am prepared and ready regardless
Rod knew we had this tournament and we had some new people from other gyms in there...
Drilled some odd guard offense involving the bottom using the tops elbow to get various things
Anyways tonight I had 3 opponents
One of which I had previously grappled once
New guy #1 is like twice as old as me used to grappler alot and just coming back

Two movies that inspired me to develop Grapplers Quest were Vision Quest and the Karate Kid, both being re-released in theaters in 2010 with 2 brand new casts. Remakes are usually hit or miss, but I think its great to get exposure wherever we can, especially in Hollywood. I will definitely be going to see both of opening night!
